Mike Zimmerman has been Pastor of First Baptist since February of 1992. Mike originally came to First Baptist as the Associate Pastor in 1990. He began his ministry in 1976 in Rosenberg, Texas, as Assistant Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Simultaneously, his wife Julia began her career of putting Mike through school as he attended and graduated from Wharton County Junior College, Houston Baptist University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike has pastored churches in Van Vleck, Ganado, and Schulenburg, Texas. Mike and Julia enjoy their home in the country a few miles outside of Bay City.

Kevin has served in ministry for over 30 years around the state in Worship, as well as Youth, Senior Adults, Family, and Administration. Kevin attended West Texas State University studying Biology and later attended Texas A&M for graduate school in the area of Genetics. Following graduate school, Kevin worked in the Biotech field in the areas of Genetics, Fermentation Development, and Process Development. During his Biotech carreer God revealed a different plan for his life, and Kevin surrendered to full-time ministry in 1998. Kevin married his bride, Christine Hoggard, in 1988. They have two sons, Joshua & Michael, two daughters-in-law Amber & Bethany, and five adorable grandkids, Nate, Ellie, Norah, Hudson and Liam and lots of pictures, just ask! Kevin enjoys cycling, music, and family.
